Ladder 2 is a 1995 Pierce Tele-Squirt 65' Aerial unit that carries a crew of 4 personnel and currently is 1 of 2 aerial units within the volunteer fire departments in Sullivan County. It carries 500 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 1,500 gallons of water per minute. This unit is equipped with a hydraulic ladder rack for easy access to ground ladders. This Truck carries a full compliment of firefighting tools, accessories, LDH hose and power tools. The aerial unit is capable of being run from aboard the rig or from a remote control device. An integrated hands-free intercom system allows for ladder crews to communicate with the operator at all times. This Ladder frequently travels to our first due zone and other zones to assist with working structure fires or rescues.
